The Magic of Discovery
This extraordinary session wouldn’t have happened without the keen eye of Vida (@videllagrazi), who discovered this forgotten manor and recognized its incredible potential. While the new owner was removing the last traces of the past, we – with Lukas Ludziejewski and the OhVibe Creative Collective team – arrived to create its final portrait. It was a race against time: furniture, scattered letters, dried flowers in pots – everything destined for the landfill became the backdrop for our story.

Why Jupiter 2/50?
This Soviet lens, produced since the 1950s, is an icon of optics. Designed based on the pre-war Zeiss Sonnar, it is renowned for its soft rendering, depth, and unique bokeh. In the digital era, it serves as a time machine. Its strong contrasts and slight imperfections perfectly harmonized with the nostalgia of the place that Vida discovered.
Nikon ZF: Modernity in Retro Style
A camera that pays homage to its predecessors:
- Nikon FM2/FM3 – iconic mechanical bodies from the 80s/90s, valued for their reliability
- ZF – combines the soul of analog with digital precision, with styling that nods to historical models
Session Philosophy: T-MAX 400 in Digital Version
Goal: to recreate the atmosphere of classic film. The T-MAX 400 profile in ZF, raw NEF files developed in Nikon NX Studio – no retouching, no filters. The result? Frames that capture the rustle of old wallpaper and light filtered through dusty windows, exactly as Vida envisioned when she first discovered this location.
Reflection
In a world where everything changes, photography still allows us to preserve what is fleeting. Thanks to Vida’s discovery, we could capture the last glimpses of a place that will soon cease to exist – a testament to how important it is to have team members with vision and passion for exploration.
I invite you to the gallery where time stands still, thanks to the wonderful discovery by @videllagrazi.
